Runescript of darkness has been hidden in scroll
It was forgoten from long long ago
Outlines of shadows in the forest of decay
Prophesy about the end of a days.

Leisurely death shows that embrace
Ghostly hands will rise from the graves
He makes conjuration of creatures to fall
Signs on the ground hail them all.

Sanctuary has been cursed
Runes painted by the blood
Chosen one sacrificed on altar
Sing a funeral demonic monk.

The forses from outside scraping the sphere
Protection is close to be cracked like a stick
Voices in his mind has come from nowhere
Blood's flowing out from his body by a creek.

He continues to call upon the souls of the dead.
Slumbering wind's twisting around his neck
Warlock is close to be hanged by a wind,
His past and future has been ruined.

And he fell on his knees
Tried to swallow the breath
For every spell he must pay
he'll not survive till the day.

Miracles after midnight
Into the sky he gaze and cry
But he will die for all of his magic
And all the tears can't save his life.

He screams in agony till the end of a days
Runescript of darkness shows that embrace
Conjuration was paid and cracked the altar
Warlock disappears in a gloomy scar.

Fear inhales him to the infernal worlds
He'll become a puppet in a hand of a void
Burial ground disgorging his bones
Ritual place is sinking in thorns.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
